something that happened: dinner party with a bunch of fun new local japanese friends at my house. We all played wii and i made them fettuccini chicken alfredo. Inevitably, the questions of "how do Americans do X Y and Z" started to come up and BINGO, we landed on marriage proposal. I demonstrated with a beer.
